LiP Optical Warranty

The warranty information on this page relates only to purchases made from www.lip-optical.com. If you have purchased from our sister website (www.lip-sunglasses.com), please head over to LiP Sunglasses for warranty information that applies to all purchases of our standard (non-optical) sunglasses. 

The warranty duration applicable to all products purchased from www.lip-optical.com includes:

• 3-years warranty on the frame and accessories (leash & necklace)

• 1 year warranty for optical lenses

We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality for both our products and our customer service, so if you are experiencing any problems with your purchase, please reach out to us by filling in the support request below. If the warranty period for your purchase has expired, we may offer suggestions for the purchase or repair of the parts affected. 

If you purchased your sunglasses directly from our online store at www.lip-optical.com, then you will not need to register your warranty as we will hold details in our database about your purchase.

Warranty Summary

The warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear; frame and/or lens loss from crashes; scratches and pit marks on the lenses and frame; damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of the product; damage due to excessive sun exposure or hot temperatures such as inside an unventilated car; damage caused by third party products such as sunscreens; unauthorised modifications and repairs or failure to carry out adequate maintenance.

LiP Optical has the sole discretion to determine if and to what extent there is a major defect in materials or workmanship. If LiP Optical determines that there is a major defect in materials or workmanship and agrees to replace the part(s) concerned under Warranty, we shall replace those parts which are determined to be defective provided that there are parts or components available (shipping costs and import taxes / duties not included). You are responsible for the cost of shipping the replacement part or component to you together with any import taxes or duties that may be applicable for your country.

The Warranty period begins on the date of purchase. The Warranty for any repaired or replaced parts is deemed to start from the date of the original purchase.
